Patrick Mahomes and friends provides a sneak peek at a charity event, where the Chiefs tandem connects for an amusing touchdown throw.
Following the weekend’s fundraising event for his foundation, which brought together a number of well-known figures, Patrick Mahomes gave fans an inside peek at his Las Vegas charity extravaganza.
The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs hosted his fourth annual gala through his charity, ’15 and the Mahomies Foundation,’ which he founded five years ago with the goal of bettering the lives of children.
Being one of the most well-known players in the world, Mahomes was able to invite a number of prominent people to his most recent event, which consisted of a Sunday golf competition and a glamorous auction on Saturday night.
Teammate Travis Kelce of the Chiefs made an appearance at both games. The day before, he took to the course after rocking up to the auction with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Mahomes posted a video of Kelce having fun on a game of golf with the quarterback and Justin Reid, his colleague in Kansas City, on Instagram. Kelce is seen laughing and joking.
Then, he is shown walking hand in hand with Swift into the auction, trailed by former NFL players Andrew Whitworth and Kyle Rudolph, golfer Tony Finau, UFC fighters Justin Gaethje and Khalil Rountree Jr., and others.
Brittany, Mahomes’ wife, was also present and sat next to Swift during the bidding.
This past NFL season, Brittany became good friends with pop sensation Swift, and on other occasions, the two even went out in New York together with her high-profile girl squad. However, Brittany was recently made fun of for reportedly putting on a front with Swift. Swift and Brittany have also attended other Chiefs games together.
Kelce was the star of the show that evening. He started the applause when he called Swift his “significant other” during the auction of four Eras Tour tickets.
“I believe I was just chatting to my partner,” he remarked on Saturday at the Mahomes Foundation Golf Classic and The 15 dinner in Las Vegas. “There could be one more auction item that wasn’t scheduled.”
Later on in the evening, Mahomes and the venerable Kansas City tight end linked for an absurd touchdown pass that went straight through the different tables.
In another instance that drew cheers from the crowd, Mahomes’ video shows Kelce making the grab while dressed in a suit.
The quarterback is shown toward the end of the film making a putt on the golf course and then ecstatically celebrating.
After attending the charity event on Saturday night, Kelce partied all night long in Vegas, but Swift was nowhere to be seen.
Swift was nowhere to be seen on the night when Travis went to the crowded XS Nightclub to join Norwegian DJ Kygo behind the decks at his Vegas party, only hours after the couple turned heads at the gala together.
The Chiefs star can be seen using the microphone to get the audience going in a few pictures and videos that Kygo posted. He then waves a t-shirt in the air and starts bouncing up and down to the music.
While having a great time at the renowned nightclub of the Wynn Hotel, Travis also posed for a picture with the music producer and his manager, Myles Shear.
