Tawfiq Thomas, a defensive tackle for Louisville, will begin his visitation to Fayetteville on Wednesday at noon. On Monday, he went via the NCAA transfer portal.
On the journey with him is linebacker Jaylin Alderman, a teammate.
The 6-4, 300-pound Thomas saw action in 11 games and recorded 4 tackles for first-year head coach Jeff Brohm in 2023.
He had eight tackles and played 110 snaps in 10 games as a true freshman for former Cardinal coach Scott Satterfield, who left to take the coaching job in Cincinnati following the 2022 year.
