Good news: Indiana adds a sensetional star for the 2024–25 season
Myles Rice will be joining Indiana for the 2024–25 season, the team formally confirmed earlier today.

Bloomington, Indiana: Myles Rice, a transfer, has joined the Indiana men’s basketball team, according to a Tuesday announcement from head coach Mike Woodson. After three seasons at Washington State, Rice, a 2024 Kyle Macy National Freshman All-America Team selection, comes to Indiana.
The 6-3, 180-pound guard helped the Cougars earn their first NCAA Tournament participation in sixteen years, averaging 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He made shots from the field at 43.9% (190-of-433), the 3-point line at 27.5% (36-of-131), and the free throw line at 81.1% (103-of-127). He recorded thirteen games with at least five assists, sixteen multi-steal games, 27 games with double figures in scoring, and six games with 20 points or more.
The native of Columbia, South Carolina, won seven times to be voted Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, All-Pac-12 First Team, and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. In terms of single-game scoring (35), single-season scoring (519), steals (56), assists (134), field goals (190), and free throw percentage (81.1%), he set marks for Washington State as a freshman. For the Cougars, he started all 35 of their games.
In 2022–2023 Rice participated in a redshirt season, and in 2022–2023 he underwent a medical redshirt while undergoing treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. On March 9, 2023, he had his final chemotherapy session. At the 2023 Black Student-Athlete Summit, Rice received the title of Student Athlete of the Year.
He is Joel and Tamara Rice’s son.
