C.J. Stroud: concerned on improved health of his colleague
Despite having a fractured leg that ended his rookie season, Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is still progressing heading into his second NFL season.
Before the team’s offseason program began last week, Dell, who has been running for a while, participated in workouts with quarterback C.J. Stroud and new player Stefon Diggs. Stroud claimed that Dell’s return to full health and his development as a player since having to shut things down were evidenced by those sessions.
Stroud remarked, “He looks great,” according to KPRC’s Aaron Wilson. “He’s improved significantly. Mentally, I believe that for both of us—actually, for all of the rookies entering Year Two—everything is beginning to calm down, and your minds aren’t spinning as much. You’re getting the hang of the game. It was huge to be able to throw with him in Los Angeles.
Although Diggs’ trade has made news recently in Houston, their receiving corps had enough to cheer about even before to his arrival. The addition of Diggs only makes the Texans’ bunch more formidable as they attempt to win the division for a second consecutive year. Dell and Nico Collins excelled with Stroud previous season.
